Do you feel like you just need someone to really listen?
You don’t want to be judged?
You don’t need another opinion, you just need the space and quiet to talk things through.
You feel you are going crazy as it goes round and round in your head and bits are adding to it every time.
You just want to be able to press the pause button, to have time to process it.
No having to watch what you say, no having to put on the happy face, just being able to be you and for that to be okay.
Counselling doesn’t have to be about focusing on the sad things. It can be about providing that space to work things out and to know how you want to move forwards.
Acknowledging that something is not right is the real hard bit and from then on it can be all forward thinking and about finding the right solutions for you.
Counselling doesn’t give you the answers it allows you to find your answers which is far more empowering.
