Do you feel that you are holding on to your grief as a way of holding on to your loved one? Not feeling sad scares you?
One of the hardest things about grief is that the person you need to talk to and seek solace from is the person who is no longer there.
Talking to someone independent can help. It can provide a safe space for you to talk freely about how you are feeling. It offers a time when you don’t need to hold it all in.
You will not be judged or be told ‘don’t cry’.
The brave face can drop and the sadness can come out.
However, it doesn’t have to be all sad, counselling can help support you reach that place where you can feel the love through the tears. Where you can smile with memories as you tread the path of grief.
It’s ok to admit you are not ok. Grief as a passage is not a place to stay and counselling can help you grow and heal.
